You can begin your dog’s treatment with NexGard Spectra at any time of the year.
Weigh your dog to determine the correct dosage strength.
Administer NexGard Spectra orally as a single dose, once every month.
It can be given with or without food. When giving food, ensure your dog takes the complete dose. If you suspect that the dog has not taken the complete dose, give another full dose.
If you miss a dose, administer one dose as soon as you recall dosing and resume with monthly dosing.
When switching from another heartworm preventive product to NexGard Spectra, administer the first dose within 30 days of the last dose of the former product.

How Does NexGard Spectra Work?

NexGard Spectra contains afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime as its active ingredients. After administration, the active components are absorbed into the dog’s bloodstream.
