Answer:

Heartgard kills the intestinal worms except for heartworms. This is a heartworm preventative. If your dog already has heartworm, this product wouldn't treat it.

ive been giving my golden heartgard for the last year.i see it is for hookworm but does it protect her from getting bit by mosquito and getting infective?

Heartgard treats hookworms but it won't protect your dog against mosquito bites. We recommend Bayer's " Advantix " for that.

Is this ok for Old English Sheepdogs?

According to its label, it should be safe to use, but if you have a collie, it is always good idea to get advice from your vet before using it.

We sell Valuehart which also contains Ivermectin, however this product doesn't cover any other intestinal worm unlike Heartgard.

According the its label this product safe to use on Greyhounds, but we strongly recommend you take advise from your vet before applying any medication to your dog.
