Is there any difference between this product and Revolution Plus besides the name and where it is distributed? I read that it is “essentially” the same but what does that mean exactly?

Answer:

There is no difference whatsoever, besdides the name. "Stronghold" is the brand, Zoetis (the manufacturer of Revolution and Stronghold) chooses to use in Europe.

Answer:

It is applied topically to the skin, typically between the shoulder blades of your cat.

What's the difference between Revolution Plus and Stronghold Plus?

There is no difference. The manufacturer uses Stronghold brand for Europe and Revolution for the rest of the world.

Does this also work for tapeworms?

Ni this product doesn't cover tapeworms. We recommend a Drontal deworming if your cat has a risk of getting tapeworm.
